Time does heal and it helps scars fade. This is 12 weeks out from second dissection. Not so bad now. The most obvious part is a segment where the new incision overlaps the old scar. Must say, I'm pretty happy with it so far considering how horrified I was with how it started out.

You scar looks good! Just wondering if you used any type of scar products? I've heard of Mederma and some type of silicone scar bandages that some people use. Any thoughts on this?
I tried Mederma with the first small scar and it made me horribly itchy so I avoided other medicated products and for a while I used vitamin E oil. That felt good and made it easier to massage the area. I also try to be pretty good about using sunscreen and hats
